We know that probability is No. of favourable outcomes/ Total no. of outcomes

Lets first take out the total no.
Since, no. of children whose marks are given is 6, our total no. becomes 6.

So, In the first case, The no. of people securing more than 70% is 3
1.  P(E)= 3/6=1/2

In the second case, The no. of people securing less than 70 % is again 3
2. P(E)= 3/6= 1/2

In the third case, The no. of people securing at LEAST 60% is 5
3. P(E)= 5/6

Therefore our answers are-
1. 1/2
2. 1/2
3. 5/6
