Given

ABCD is a square inscribed in a circle

whose perimeter is 88cm

To find

To find area of shaded region

Solution

perimeter of square =4a

=>88=4a

\becausea=22cm

Here,we see something that AC is diameter of the circle

so we have to find Ac

In right angled\triangleABC

AB²+BC²=AC²

=>AC²=484+484

=>AC²=968

=>AC=√968

\because=22√2cm

Now r will be 11√2cm

Area of circle = πr²

=\frac{22}{7}×11√2×11√2

=3.14×968

~760cm²

Area of square=(side)²

=22×22

=484cm²

Area of shaded region = Area of circle-area of square

Area of shaded=(760-484)

=276cm²
