Dear Sir,
With due respect I would like to state that I am writing this letter in order to apologise for my disgraceful behaviour and breaking of rules during the last football match.
I regret that the ambition of victory and fright of defeat made me get into a wild behaviour and thus I completely forgot of sticking to the rules of the match. I understand that the rules are meant to awaken the spirit of sportsmanship among the students. I know that I am not an exception to the rest of the student body and that my punishment is completely deserved.
I would be highly obliged if you accept my sincere apologies.
