Hi army !

So , as we have been given :

a + b = 11cm ------(1)

b + c = 13 cm ------(2)

c + a = 12 cm ------(3)

• let us subtract (2) from (1) :

a+ b = 11

c + b = 13

_________

a - c = (-2)

__________

so a - c = (-2) ------- (4)

• let's add (4) and (3)

a - c = (-2)

a + c = 12

________

2a = 10

_________

By solving , we get a = 5 cm

• Now substitute the value of a in

equation (1)

→ 5 + b = 11

→ b = 6 cm

• Now substitute the value of b in equation (2)

→ 6 + c = 13

→ c = 7cm

• Perimeter of a ∆ is = the sum of its

sides

= a+b+c

= 5+6+7

= 18cm

# Hope it helps!
