Area of triangle is
 \frac{1}{2}  \times base \times height \\

Here, base of triangle is length of the rectangle and height of the triangle is width of the rectangle.

So, triangle area is
 \frac{1}{2}   ( {p}^{2} q - 5)  ( {q}^{2}  + 4p) \\
