Four cells, each of EMF 2 volt and internal resistance 2 ohm are connected in parallel, to form battery. The battery is connected to external resistance of 2.5 ohm and two resistance of 6 ohm and 3 ohm in parallel. Draw a circuit diagram and answer:
What is the current in the main circuit
What is current in 6 ohm wire
What is the drop in potential.

Two 1.6V1.6V cells with 2Ω2Ω internal resistance in parallel is equivalent to one 1.6V1.6V cell with 1Ω1Ω internal resistance. Then you’ve got a simple series circuit with a 1.6V1.6V voltage source and 3Ω+1Ω=4Ω3Ω+1Ω=4Ω resistors, so I=1.6V4Ω=0.4A=400mAI=1.6V4Ω=0.4A=400mA.
