<B><I>HERE IS YOUR ANSWER :-

Dimension of a rectangular room = 8 m × 6 m × 3 m

Rate of painting = Rs. 60 per m²

For this purpose we have to calculate total surface area of rectanglular room.

Surface area of rectangular room = 2 ( 6 × 8 + 8 × 3 + 6 × 3 )

= 2 ( 48 + 24 + 18 )

= 2 ( 90 )

= 180 m²

Cost for painting = 180 × 60

= Rs. 10800

So the total cost of painting is Rs . 10,800

Given Dimensions of room are:

⇒ Length = 6m.

⇒ Breadth = 6m.

⇒ Height = 3 m.

∴ Area of four walls of the room = 2h(l + b)

⇒ 2 * 3(8 + 6)

⇒ 6(14)

⇒ 84 m^2.

Given cost per m^2 = 60.

Cost of painting the walls of the room at the rate of 60 per m^2:

⇒ 84 * 60

⇒ 5040.

Therefore, cost of painting the walls of the room = 5040.

Hope it helps!
