The ratio of their rise in temperature will be option b) m₂/m₁

Explanation :

we know that the amount of heat energy required to raise the temp is given as:

Q = msΔθ

where

m = mass

s = specific heat

Δθ = temp rise

for body 1

Q₁ = m₁sΔθ₁

For body 2

Q₂ = m₂sΔθ₂

since it is given that both the objects are supplied with same energy, hence

Q₁ = Q₂

=> m₁sΔθ₁ = m₂sΔθ₂

=> m₁Δθ₁ = m₂Δθ₂

=> Δθ₁/ Δθ₂ = m₂/m₁

Hence the ratio of their rise in temperature will be option b) m₂/m₁
