EXPLANATION

Equation =

let theta = A

=> (sinA + cosA) ^2 + (sinA - cosA ) ^2

=> ( sin^2A + cos^2A + 2sinAcosA ) +

(sin^2A + cos^2A - 2 sinAcosA)

=> (1 + 2sinAcosA) + (1 - 2sinAcosA)

1 + 1 = 2

FORMULA USED.

(a \:  + b) {}^{2}  =  {a}^{2} +  {b}^{2}  + 2ab

(a - b) {}^{2}  =  {a}^{2} +  {b}^{2} - 2ab

SOME OTHER FORMULA

( {a}^{2}  -  {b}^{2} ) = (a \:  + b)(a \:  - b)

=> (a^2 + b^2 ) = (a + b)^2 - 2ab

=> (a^2 - b^2 ) = (a - b)^2 + 2ab
