Today is a memorable Wednesday in my life. In our school we had a plantation function. There was an inauguration of a small garden in our school in the afternoon. All of us students have planted lovely tiny saplings in the school compound. I planted two saplings. I dug some Earth out, removed the plastic cover and placed the sapling in the hole. Then I carefully filled the hole with good red Earth around it. I watered it well too.
Everyday for the next six months, I have the duty of watering the sapling until it becomes a big plant. I have to watch over its growth too.
After returning home, in the compound of our house I planted one sapling. I took it from the school, with permission from our principal. I have written on the wall my name near that sapling.
I am very happy and content. I have a good responsibility of the saplings until I see them grow to big plants. Hope they will flower very well.
It is late in the night now. Must sleep soon. Good night diary.
