Given that perimeter of a sector = 27.2cm.

Given that Radius of the circle r = 5.6cm.

W.K.T, perimeter of the sector of circle = 2r + 2pir *  \frac{theta}{360}

27.2 = 2r(1 + pi *  \frac{theta}{360} )

27.2 = 2 * 5.6(1 + pi *  \frac{theta}{360} )

27.2 = 11.2(1 + pi *  \frac{theta}{360} )

 \frac{27.2}{11.2} = 1 + pi *  \frac{theta}{360}

2.43 = 1 + pi *  \frac{theta}{360}

2.43 - 1 = pi *  \frac{theta}{360}

1.43 = pi *  \frac{theta}{360}

Now,

We know that Area of sector in degrees =

 \frac{theta}{360} *  \pi r^2

1.43 * r^2

1.43 * (5.6)^2

1.43 * 31.36

44.8cm^2.

Therefore the Area of sector = 44.8cm^2.
