1.We cannot move our neck in all direction because the joints in our neck is like the hinges of the door which allows movement in only one direction.
2. We can move only the lower jaw because the upper jaw is connected with the skull by an immovable joint while the lower jaw is connected by a movable joint which makes the movement possible.
3.If our backbone would be made up of only one bone then we would not be able to move our backbone as it would have no joint and would be just 1 long bone. The backbone is made up of many small bones so that we are able to bend out backbone. If our backbone could not bend then we could not, sit, walk, run or bend
