Prime factorization of  45 = 3 * 3 * 5

Prime factorization of 40 = 2 * 2 * 2 * 5

Prime factorization of 42 = 2 * 3 * 7

LCM(45,40,42) = 2 * 2 * 2 * 3 * 3 * 5 * 7

                          = 2520.

Therefore the minimum distance each should walk = 2520cm

                                                                                      = 0.0252km

                                                                                      = 25.2m.

Hope this helps!
