Answer:

Distance = 800m

speed = 24m/s

Explanation:

we know that the car starts from rest at time = 0 sec. (From graph)

so; initial velocity, u = 0m/s

given that acceleration = 4m/s, we have to find the distance covered (s), in the time, t = 20 sec

using the equation : s = ut + 1/2at^2, we get:

s = 0(t) + 1/2 * 4 * (20)^2

  = 2 * 400

  = 800 meters.

in the graph, the time given is 6 seconds. so t = 6 sec

now for the speed (v m/s), we know the equation : v = u + at

substituting the values, we get

v = 0 + 4(6)

therefore, v = 24 m/s

hope this helped.
