1) Air is present in water as dissolved state, i.e., air is present in water as dissolved oxygen and CO2 (carbon dioxide) also.

2) The solubility of air depends on : air temperature and air (atmospheric) pressure.

3) Higher the temperature, lower is the solubility of air (gas) in water (liquid).

4) Fishes survive in water by using the dissolved air or oxygen in water for respiration. 1dm³ of water nearly contains 40cm³ of dissolved oxygen.
