Side of Square = 12cm.

Area of Square = 12× 12 cm^2 = 144 cm^2

Side of Square = Diameter of quadrants.

Radius of each quadrant = 12/2 = 6cm cm..

4 quadrants will make 1 complete circle.

So, Area of a circle = pi r^2 = 3.14 × 6 × 6 cm^2

Area of a circle = 113.04 cm^2

Area of shaded region = Area of Square - Area of circle ( area of 4 quadrants)

Area of shaded region = 144 cm^2 - 113.04 cm^2 = 30.96 cm^2.

By finding the area of the square ABCD, we get the value of area of quadrilateral.....

After that find the area of each sector such as ASP whose radius is given 12 cm.

All sides of the square are equal..... Therefore the radius of all sides= 12cm.

At last, By using the area of sector you get the shaded region:

Area of sector= thita/ 360°×πr²

Area of shaded region= Area of square - Area of all sides of sector

Hope you can understand it properly..........❤️❤️❤️
