Answer:

1)Let the first multiple of 8 = x

Let the second multiple of 8 = x+8

Let the third multiple of 8 = x+16

According to the question:-

x+x+8+x+16 = 888

=>3x +24 = 888

=>3x =  864

=>x =288

The first multiple of 8 = x = 288

The second multiple of 8 = x+8 = 288+8 = 296

The third multiple of 8 = x+16 = 288+16 =304

2)Let the first number = x = y+15

Let the second number = y

We know that,

x = y +15

So,

According to the question:-

y+15+y = 95

=>2y = 95-15

=>y = 40

Second number = y = 40

First number = y+15 = 40+15 =55
