(i) for 9 ohm
Let connect first' two resistance in parallel then,
Equivalent resistance
1/R'= 1/6 +1/6 = 2/6= 1/3
R' = 3ohm
Now add third one resistance in series.
equivalent resistance = 3+6
= 9ohm

(ii) for 4 ohm
Add two resistance in series,
then,
there equivalent resistance= 6+6
= 12ohm
Again,
Add third one in parallel to it
Equivalent resistance,
1/R = 1/12 +1/6
1/R= 1/4
R= 4 ohm
