Answer:

(I) ∆ ABC is an isoceles triangle.

(ii) interior angles of ∆ ABC are :-

sum of all angles of a triangle is 180⁰.

angle ACB and angle ABC are equal because they are the base angles of equal sides of the triangle.

let angle ACB = x

=> angle A + angle ABC + angle ACB = 180⁰

=> 50⁰ + angle ABC + angle ACB = 180⁰

=> 50⁰ + x + x = 180⁰

=> 50⁰ + 2x = 180⁰

=> 2x = 180 - 50

=> 2x = 130

=> x = 130 ÷ 2

=> x = 65

so , all the angles of the triangle are 50⁰, 65⁰, 65⁰.

(iii) x + angle ABC = 180⁰ ( linear pair )

x + 65 = 180

x = 180 - 65

x = 115⁰

y + angle ACB = 180⁰ ( linear pair )

y + 65 = 180⁰

y = 180 - 65

y = 115⁰
