1) hope u made the diagram in which one equilateral triangle with one median in between
2)mark angle alpha and beta respectively on two sides
3)in first triangle take tan alpha =height /base =h/x eq. 1
take the value of x i. e =h/tan alpha
4) similarly in second triangle take the value of y i. e. =h/tan beta eq. 2
5)eq.1 + eq..2
6) it is given that on consecutive distance so x+y =1
and on rhs it will become
h / tan alpha +h / tan beta
take lcm on rhs side
then it will become
h (tan alpha + tan beta )/ tan alpha. tan beta
7) take denominator on lhs side and numerator also on lhs side
8) u will get
tan alpha. tan beta / tan alpha + tan beta =h
this is ur height which was asked to proof
