heya

y-(7-8y)/9y-(3+4y)=2/3
3{y-(7-8y)}=2{9y-(3+4y)}
3{y-7+8y}=2{9y-3-4y}
3y-21+24y=18y-6-8y
3y-18y+8y+24y=-6+21
-15y+8y+24y=15
-7y+24y=15
17y=15
y=15/17

\boxed{\bold{\large{Answer:}}}

 \frac{y - (7 - 8y)}{9y - (3 + 4y)} \frac{2}{3} \\ \\ = > \frac{y - 7 + 8y}{9y - 3 - 4y} = \frac{2}{3} \\ \\ = > \frac{9y - 7}{5y - 3} = \frac{2}{3} \\ \\ = > 3(9y - 7) = 2(5y - 3) \\ \\ = > 27y - 21 = 10y - 6 \\ \\ = > 27y - 10y = - 6 + 21 \\ \\ = > 17y = 15 \\ \\ = > y = \frac{15}{17}

\boxed{\bold{\large{Hope\:it\:helps\:you!}}}
