The question is quite simple.
Height of wall = 4m = 400cm.
Breadth of wall = 10m = 1000cm
Thickness of wall = 24cm

Volume of wall = 400*1000*24 = 9600000 cm^3

Dimension of brick
Length = 24cm
Breadth = 8 cm
Height = 12 cm

Volume of one brick = 24*12*8 = 2304 cm^3

Now the number of bricks require = Volume of wall/Volume of bricks.

9600000/2304 = 4166.66 ~ 4167 bricks.

PS : I converted the metre in centimetre.
