A Pronoun is a word which replaces a noun to avoid its unnecessary repetition.
Kinds of Pronouns
1. Personal pronouns: They refer to a specific person, object or group of things.
For eg I , we, them etc
2. Demonstrative pronouns: They help to point at something or someone. For
eg. This, That, These, Those, that etc
3. Possessive pronouns: They show ownership to someone or something. For
eg. Mine, yours, her , his
4. Interrogative pronouns: The pronouns who, what, which, whom are used to
ask questions.
5. Emphatic pronouns: These pronouns are used to give emphasis to a person or
thing that is mentioned in the sentence. For Eg. Myself, themselves
6. Reflexive pronouns: The pronouns like myself, himself, themselves are
reflexive pronouns.
7. Reciprocal pronouns: These pronouns are used to show that an action or a
feeling is reciprocated. For eg. each other, one other
8. Indefinite pronouns: These pronouns do not refer to any specific person,
things or amount. For eg. Everybody, no one
