Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

cover distance of Tanu of first hour=2.1/3 km

distance of second hour=1.1/6 km

distance of third hour=2.1/4km

So, the total of this three

kilometre=2.1/3 + 1.1/6 +2.1/4 km

first find the LCM of denominator (3, 6,4)

LCM=12, denominator must should be same

2.1×4 / 3×4 = 8.4/12

1.1×2 / 6×2 = 2.2/12

2.1×3 / 4×3 = 6.3/12

8.1/12 + 2.2/12 + 6.3/12

21.96/12

we will simplest it

21.96÷2 / 12÷2

=10.98 / 6, again we simplest it

10.98÷2 / 6÷2

=5.49 / 3

also again we simplest it

5.49÷3 / 3÷3

=1.83km

ans. = Tanu covered 1.83 kilometre in 3 hours

Distance covered by Tanu in first hour

 = 2 \frac{1}{3} km

Distance covered by Tanu in second hour

 = 1 \frac{1}{6} km

Distance covered by Tanu in third hour

 = 2 \frac{1}{4} km

ғɪɴ

Distance covered by Tanu in all three hours

sʟɪɴ

Distance covered by Tanu in all three hours

= Distance covered by Tanu in first hour + Distance covered by Tanu in second hour + Distance covered by Tanu in third hour

 = 2 \frac{1}{3} km + 1 \frac{1}{6} km + 2 \frac{1}{4} km

 = \frac{7}{3} km + \frac{7}{6} km + \frac{9}{4} km

 = 3.5km + \frac{9}{4} km

 = 5.75km

Therefore , the distance covered by Tanu in all three hours is 5.75 km .
