  1. These are tall and large plants with hard and woody stem. A single main-stem arises from the ground. The main-stem is called trunk.
  2. The plants which has soft and green stems are called herbs. Examples- Cauliflower,wheat, rice, mint
  3. The plants with weak stem need support to grow are called as a creeper or climber herbs
