Answer: 3

first we multiply (-7)^{x+2} and  (-7)^{5}

=> (-7)^{(x+2+5)} = (-7)^{x + 7}

so

(-7)^{x+7} = (-7)^{10}

so now we can do equation on the powers

x + 7 = 10

x = 10 -7

x = 3

so final result is 3
