2 {x}^{2}  - 2 \sqrt{2} x + 1 = 0 \\  \\ 2 {x}^{2}  -  \sqrt{2}  x-  \sqrt{2} x + 1 = 0 \\  \\  \sqrt{2} x( \sqrt{2} x - 1) - 1( \sqrt{2} x - 1) = 0 \\  \\ ( \sqrt{2} x - 1)( \sqrt{2} x - 1) = 0 \\  \\  \\  \\ x =  \frac{1}{ \sqrt{2} }

2x²-2√2x+1=0

so by quarditic formula
α and β= -b+-√b²-4ac/2a
            =2√2+-√8-8/2a
            =2√2+-0/2a
α=2√2/2
 =1/√2
and
β=2√2/2
 =1/√2
