perimeter of square = 4a

circumference of circle = 2πr

ATQ,

4a = 2πr

2a = 22/7 X r

 a = 11r/7

 area of square = a²

                        = 11r/7 X 11r/7

                        = 144r²/49

 area of circle   = πr²

 Ratio of area of square  & area of circle is ,

               144 r²/49 : 22/7 r²

                    11/ 7 : 2

                          11 : 14

Answer:

4a=2\pi r

a=\frac{\pi r}{2}

Squaring on both sides, we get

a^2=(\frac{\pi r}{2})^2

a^2=\frac{\pi (\pi r^2)}{2} \\

Square area = \frac{\pi}{2}*Area of circle.
