A given length of wire is doubled of itself and this process is repeated once again .by what factor does the resistance of wire changes

On doing as stated if we assume that area of cross section remains same that is additional wire is placed then the resistance will became 4 times..

but if the same wire is stretched then length will become 4 time but area of cross section will become 1/4 time{volume remains constant}and hence resistance will become 16 times
