Given that cost price of oranges = 30

Ramial wants to sell at a loss of 5%.

so Loss = 5% of 30 = 0.05 * 30 =1.5

Now selling price will be difference of cost price and loss

selling price = 30 - 1.5 = 28.5

Hence final answer is 28.5 rupees.

Anonymous: 5 per cent of 30 how?
lublana: because 30 is the cost price and we calculate percent on the cost price
