Distance = speed × time

= 30kmph × 30 mins

=> 30 × 1/2 hours

=> 15 Kilometres.

second case :-

Distance = 40 kmph × 40/60 hours

=> 80/3 Kilometres.

total distance = 15 + 26.66 Kilometres.

= 41.66 Kilometres.

Average velocity = total distance / total time

=> 41.66 /(7/6)

=> 35.70 kmph
