1) unit vector is a vector that has a magnitude of 1 unit. A unit vector is also known as a direction vector. It is represented using a lowercase letter with a cap ('^') symbol along with it. A vector can be represented in space using unit vectors.

2) Acceleration for an object is defined as the rate of change of velocity. Average acceleration for an interval is defined as the change in velocity for that interval per time. So, mathematically acceleration(a)=ΔvΔt.
