Good question,

Here is your perfect answer!

Area of a llgm = base * height

=) 100 = 20 * DL

=) 100/20 = DL

=) DL = 5 cm,

In triangle ALD,

By Pythagoras theorem,

=) AL² = 13² - 5²

=) AL² = 169 -25

=) AL = 12cm.

kunalkt0105: here 100 is m^2 and others are in cm
kunalkt0105: ok thanks

Heya mate,

Here is your answer,. ⬇️⬇️

 {ANSWER :-}

_________

 <i> We have, AB = 20 cm

And given that, area = 100 sq.cm.

Now, height is DL

Thus, DL = 100/20 = 5 cm.

Now, using the pythagoreas theorem,

AD^2 = AL^2 + DL^2

=> 13^2 = AL^2 + 5^2

=> AL^2 = 169 - 25 = 144.

=> AL = 12.

➡️ Hence, AL = 12 cm.

_________

I think that in the question, the area should be 100 sq.cm, not 100 sq.m.

Please correct it.

_________

 <b> Hope this helps,.

If helps, please mark it as brainliest

REGARDS, ARNAB ✌️

THANK YOU
