Step-by-step explanation:

To write a rational no. in its standard form:-

1st step) At first we have to write the rational no. in correct form. [ correct form:- Correct form means if denominator is given negative integer we have to make it positive.]

How to make denominator positive:-

To make the denominator positive we have to multiply both numerator and denominator by (-1).

2nd step) Now we have to find the HCF of both numerator and denominator [The HCF should be positive integer]

3rd step) After finding the HCF we have to divide both numerator and denominator by their HCF.

4th and last step) At last we just have to write the No. that comes after dividing both numerator and denominator by their HCF in p/q form where q is not equals 0.

For example :-

1) 6/-7

6/-7= [{6×(-1)}/{(-7)×(-1)}]= -6/7

HCF of -6 and 7 is 1

-6/7 = [(-6÷1)/(7÷1)] = -6/7

so, standard form of 6/-7 is -6/7.

Now you can solve the rest question form this method.
