Answer:

therefore in this ratio the constant in both the terms is x

so, they are 7x and 4x respectively

however 7x is his income and 4x is his expenditure

so 7x is income = 21441 Rs

7x = 21441 rs

x = 21441/7

x = 3063

Income is 21441 Rs

expenditure is 4x = 4 × 3063

= 12252 Rs

Question is about savings

savings = income - expenditure

= 21441 - 12252

= 9189 Rs

Hence savings are Rs 9189 /-

Answer:

PLEASE MARK ME AS BRAINLIEST...

Step-by-step explanation:

The ratio of monthly income and expenditure of Mr. Gupta is 7 : 4.

Income = Rs. 21441

Thus, we have

7x = 21441

Thus, x = 3063

Hence, expenditure = 4x = 4 (3063) = 12252

Thus, savings of Mr. Gupta = Monthly Income - Expenditure = 21441 - 12252 = 9189

Hence, savings of Mr. Gupta is Rs. 9189
