Given curved surface area of a cylindrical pillar = 264m^2.

=> 2πrh = 264   ----- (1)

Given volume of cylinder = 924m^3.

= > πr^2h = 924    ----- (2)

Now,

On dividing both equations , we get

= > (πr^2h)/(2πrh) = 924/264

= > r/2 = (924/264)

= > r = (924/264) * 2

= > r = 7m.

We know that diameter = 2r = 2(7) = 14m.

Now,

Substitute r = 7 in (1), we get

= > 2πrh = 264

= > 2 * (22/7) * (7) * h = 264

= > (44) * h = 264

= > 44h = 264

= > h = 6m.

Therefore,

Diameter of the pillar = 7m.

Height of the pillar = 6m.

Hope this helps!
