x = (-5 +/-\sqrt{25+ 24)})/2(1)

x = (-5 +/-\sqrt{49})/2

x = (-5 +/-7)/2

so x = -6{(-5 - 7)/2 = -12/2 = -6} or  x = 1{(-5 +7)/2 = 2/2 = 1}
