Please answer it fastly...........Why is NaCl ( sodium chloride ) is required in our body.

Usually iodine is added to NaCl , this forms iodised salt, that is needed by thyroid gland to work . Its deficiency can cause goitre or swollen throat.

Sodium chloride is required for our body because:-

1. It maintain Blood Pressure(BP).
2. It absorb and transport nutrients.
