Answer:

Angle 2= 120

Angle 5=60

Now,

Angle 5= Angle 1= 60

(corresponding angles)

Angle 5= angle 7

(vertically opposite)

Angle 2= Angle 4

(vertically opposite)

Angle 2= angle 6

(corresponding)

Angle 6= Angle 8

(vertically opposite)

So, angle 5=angle 1=angle 7= angle 3= 60

angle 2= angle 4= angle 6= angle8=120

Therefore through intercept theorum

m II n

Hope this helps u :)

\sf\huge\mathbb{ANSWER:}

Given :

∠2=120°, ∠5=60°

To prove :

  • m||n

Proof :

∠1+∠2=180°[Linear pair]

∠1+120°=180°

∠1=180°-120°

∠1=60°...(1)

From given statement & eq (1)

∠1=∠5=60°

Since, these form corresponding angles when m|| n.

m||n as pair of corresponding angles are equal.

∠1=∠5

Hence proved !
