1) Mr. Pakrashi was Patol Babu's mentor and guru. His words proved to be a source of inspiration to Patol Babu in his testing time. After remembering his words, he was able to fight with his initial apprehensions and go head with enacting his role.

2) Michael was shocked after reading the 'miracle recovery' story because the name of the person who recovered was Sebastian Shultz, whom he thought he knew. Sebastian was his companion in the psycho drive games. Michael succeeded in saving him. By coincidence Sebastian also recovered. Michael thought that Shultz in the game and Shultz in the hospital were actually same person.

3) After the bird was killed the Mariner's ship was stuck in the middle of the hot and sultry sea. With no water to drink and no ray of hope to brighten them up they underwent a lot of physical and mental agony.

4) The conspiracy to assassinate Caesar was hatched to prevent Caesar from being crowned as the king of Rome. Cassius and Brutus did not want Caesar to become the dictator of Rome and rule over Romans, though for different reasons.
Decius Brutus interprets Calpurnia's dream in a positive light to move Caesar. He flatters Caesar because he had taken the responsibility of bringing Caesar to the Senate House, where the conspirators had planned to assassinate him.
And Antony appeals to be the basic sentiments of the common people. He very cleverly directs his speech toward's Caesar greatness as a human being. He in that way, arouses the citizen's feeling of revenge against the conspirators. So, his speech, as it is more logical and appeals to the reason of the people.
