Step-by-step explanation:

Hi Anu

Here's your answer

total cost of a blanket and shawl=650+350=1000Rs

the amount of money they have collected=82×500=41000Rs

number of Shawls and blankets distributed=total amount/cost of 1 blanket and 1 shawl

so,

number of Shawls and blankets distributed=41000/1000

number of Shawls and blankets distributed=41

hence they distributed 41 shawls and 41 blankets.

Hope, it helps.

Answer:

According to the problem, 1 Shawl=350rs ,1 Blanket =650rs .

Let Shawl be 'x'

and Blanket be 'y'

According to problem,Bharat Nagar Decided to distribute shawl and blankets to the needy in pair(shawl and blanket).that means here x=y because for distribution no. of blankets and no.of shwal shoul be same.

According to the problem,there are 82 houses contributing 500 each then total money is 82*500=Rs. 41000.

According to the problem we can form a equation like 350x+650y=41000

350x +650 x =41000 [Because x=y ]

1000 x =41000

x =41000÷1000

x=41 and also y=41 Because x=y

That's all.
