volume of cuboid = lbh

= 5*4*2 cm³

= 40 cm³

Now, now of cubes that can be made from it of 2cm edge .

volume of cube = a³. ( a = edge)

= 2³ = 8cm³

no. of cubes made = vol. of cuboid / vol. of cube

= 40/8

= 5

so, 5 cubes of edge 2 cm can be made via 1 cuboid of edges 5 cm , 4cm , 2 cm
