Explanation:
Every animal is unique and has some special characteristics. There are manY tricks that has been applied in the poem "how to tell wild animals" by Carolyn wells.
In the poem, the poet mentions that if you are in a forest and hear the roar of any animal that you feel like closing your ears and started trembling with fear, you must be somewhere near the lion. If you see an animal with a yellow body having black stripes, run away as you will be served as a lunch for tiger. If you see any animal with patches or spots, stay away from it and don’t allow it to pounce on you as that will be beast.
If you see a big black creature that will hug you in an unfriendly manner, it will be a bear hug that will be scarier for you. Stay away from the hyena as its laugh is similar to human’s laugh. And crocodiles cry before eating their prey. Both are deceptive creatures.
Also, the poet mentioned about chameleon who looks like a lizard having no ears but single wing. This was all about the special characteristics of animals from the poem.
