Let the center be O .

=> We know , that , angle subtended by an arc at the center is TWICE the angle subtended by it on remaining part of the circle .

=> Angle BOC = 2 ( angle BAC )

=> Angle BOC = 2 × 50° = 100°

now , in triangle BOC ,

=> OB = OC = r

therefore , Angle OBC = Angle OCB = x

now ,

=> x + x + 100° = 180° { Angle sum property }

=> 2x = 80°

=> x = 40°

as angle BAC is 50° so angle BOC is 100°

Now in triangle OBC angle BOC is 100°

then 2x equal to 80°

then xequal to 40°
