( {\frac{2}{3} })^{5}  \times  ({ \frac{3}{2} })^{7}  =  ({ \frac{2}{3} })^{4x}  \\  =  > ( {\frac{2}{3} })^{5}  \times  ({ \frac{2}{3} })^{ - 7}  =  ({ \frac{2}{3} })^{4x} \\  =  > ( {\frac{2}{3} })^{5 + ( - 7)}  =  ({ \frac{2}{3} })^{4x}

On equating the bases, we get,

5 + ( - 7) = 4x \\  =  > 4x = 5 - 7 \\  =  > 4x =  - 2 \\  =  > x =  \frac{ - 2}{4}  \\  =  > x =   \frac{ - 1}{2}
