Let the Other Rational Number be : R

Given that Sum of the Two Rational Numbers = -2

Also it is Given that the Other Rational Number is -12/7

R - \frac{12}{7} = - 2

R = -2 + \frac{12}{7}

R = \frac{-14 + 12}{7}

R = \frac{-2}{7}

So the Other Rational Number is -2/7
