chord AB is of 10 cm.
radius is 5 cm....so diameter will be 10 that is (2×5).
now we know that the diameter of a circle is the longest chord of a circle ...so we can say that chord AB is the diameter of circle....
now arc is the semicircle( half the perimeter) without adding the extra radius....so it will be...

=(2Πr)÷2
=Πr
=(22×10)÷7
=31.4cm approx
