Heya

GOOD MORNING!

_______________________________

The two paths will cross each other iff there is any such real value of x and y.

=>

x - 3y = 2 ... equation ( i )

6y - 2x = 5

=>

2x - 6y = -5

2 ( x - 3y ) = -5

x - 3y = -5/3

Now, put the vlaue of x - 3y in Equation i

-5/3 = 2 ( Absurd )

So, the two paths won't intersect each other. they are // to one another

Second Way!!

The two paths won't intersect each other if a1/a2 = b1/b2

a1 = 1 , b 1 = -3 , a2 = -2

And b2 = 6

=>

-1/3 = -2/6

=

-1/3 = -1/3

So, the paths won't intersect on each other.

these paths area parallel to one another.

pranathishreya: we can do in a1/a2=b1/B2=c1/c2 ryt
Anonymous: yeah! u can do in that way as well
Anonymous: if u solve this in that way then u will get a1/a2 = b1/b2 means there is no solutions for the given two Equation
