ANSWER ::

The required equation is given by :

x² - ( Sum of the zeroes) x + ( Product of the Zeros) =0

⟹ x² - ( 5-3 ) x + ( 5 × - 3) = 0

⟹ x² - 2x - 15 = 0

Answer:

Let the zeroes be alpha and beta

So, alpha = 5 and beta = -3

we know that,

alpha+beta = -b/a

5-3= -b/a

2=-b/a.........(i)

alpha×beta = c/a

5×-3=c/a

-15= c/a..…………(ii)

Comparing (i) and ii

a=1, b=-2 ,c=-15

Therefore, the required polynomial is x²-2x-15.
