let the 3rd term be x

thus, 51:68:x:108

we know,

product of extremes=product of means

51×108=68×x

5508=68x

x=5508/68

x=81

2nd ans will be

12:x:8:14

thus,

12×x=8×14

12x=112

x=112/12

x=32/3

x=10.6

let
the first term be = 12
the third term be = 8
the fourth term be = 14
so \\ the \: second \: term \:  = let \: be \: x \\
12: x::8:14
 \frac{12}{x }  =  \frac{8}{14}
x =  \frac{12 \times 14}{8}  = 21
So, the second term = 21
